Join our academy and start climbing the Coder's Ladder. Similar to a martial arts belt system, the ladder defines programming skills from beginner to advanced levels. Achieving Level 10 means mastering the fundamentals of software development.
With each level, students gain proficiency in more advanced programming concepts and learn how to design and build more complex projects. Levels are taught in age- and experience-appropriate development environments, from Scratch to professional languages such as Python and Java.

Students move from Scratch into Python and begin building text-based projects while learning how professional developers work.
Students build larger projects with Python, JavaScript, web development, databases, APIs, and C# in professional coding environments.
Students design full-stack and mobile applications, use GitHub, work with cloud technologies, and collaborate through team-based development.
In real-world software development, AI is a powerful productivity accelerator—not a replacement for human critical thinking. At Coding with Kids, students build strong fundamentals and stay focused on critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving. AI is introduced gradually, based on student’s age, experience, and learning goals—and only after they have the foundation to use it thoughtfully.

Levels 1–2
Visual, block-based coding builds core logic. No AI tools yet—foundations come first.
Level 3
AI helps answer questions, explain errors, and support debugging as students transition to text-based coding.
Levels 4–6
AI supports debugging, testing, documentation, and selected coding tasks.
Level 7 & up
AI becomes part of a disciplined workflow for planning, review, testing, and delivery.
Children often try coding through a camp or introductory course. Coder's Ladder gives them somewhere meaningful to go next—with a teacher who knows them, skills they can see growing, and new ideas they cannot wait to build.
We recognize that each student learns best at a different pace. Our curriculum is designed to allow for individual advancement and growth.
When students master their level’s concepts, they complete a project-based graduation session and move to their next step on the Coder's Ladder.
Students can practice with an online repository of coding exercises at home and accelerate their learning whenever they are ready.
The curriculum and commitment to individual progress are shared. Choose the setting that fits your child and family.
